About Tokat

Tokat, one of our industrialized cities, has hosted different cultures for centuries.

The city of Tokat, which is very rich in terms of trade and industry, has developed in many different branches of industry such as cigarette factories and sugar factories, as well as its peaceful nature.
The Alevi population is in majority in the city, and centuries ago it was ethnically integrated and came under the rule of the Turks.

Although the natural ruins of the city are destroyed due to natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods, important works can still be seen in the Tokat museum. Although the structure of the city has changed due to urbanization in recent years, the natural beauties in the villages attract attention.

Tokat, which is also a popular economic activity in the field of beekeeping and animal husbandry, where Karagül sheep are dominant, is the rising value of the Black Sea region. Although it does not attract much attention in terms of tourism, the city is very important for our country's economy and has no problems in terms of transportation.
