Atölye Sahi Ceramic Workshop offers short-term experiences where participants can get acquainted with ceramics, and regular training programs that will enable them to make their production practice sustainable. The workshops aim to support technical learning as well as building a connection with the material, experiencing creative processes, and fostering individual production.
The workshop programs are offered in two different formats: single-session ceramics workshops and weekly regular ceramics training.
Ceramics Workshop (Single Session Experience)
The ceramics workshop program is designed for participants to be introduced to ceramics for the first time and to gain experience in creating their own ceramics in a short period of time. No prior ceramics experience is required, and it is suitable for all levels.
During the workshop, participants will get to know ceramic clay, learn basic hand-shaping techniques, and create their own ceramic objects. The process focuses on discovery, creativity, and experience rather than technical perfection.
The pieces produced at the end of the workshop undergo natural drying, glazing, and double firing processes by the workshop. Since the technical stages of ceramic production are time-consuming, the products are ready for delivery in approximately 2-3 weeks.

Regular Ceramics Training (Weekly Program)
Regular ceramics training is a long-term program aimed at enabling participants to transform ceramics into a sustainable production practice. The training process supports both the transfer of technical knowledge and the development of individual production skills.
Throughout the program, participants learn to recognize the structure of clay, different hand-shaping methods, surface and decoration techniques, glazing applications, and kiln processes. The training is designed so that participants can progress at their own pace, and they are encouraged to develop personal projects.
Suitable for all participants, from beginner to advanced levels.
Class Duration: 1 day, 2 hours per week
