Topography of Terror
Located in Berlin, the Topography of Terror is a remainder of the gloomy history during the times of the Third Reich. This museum, including both indoor and outdoor sections, gives insight into the internal structure of the Nazi terror system and its activities from 1933 to 1945. Close to Potsdamer Platz, the main institutions of Nazi persecution such as Secret State Police Office with its own “house prison,” the leadership of the SS and, during the Second World War, the Reich Security Main Office were based there.
