Linderhof Palace
Linderhof is one of three palaces built by the Bavarian king Ludwig II, the Fairytale King, also father of the famous Neuschwanstein Castle. The smaller Linderhof Palace stands at the place of a forester's house, which the father of the king used for hunting expeditions. So it was one of Ludwig's childhood places and the palace with its garden, modeled on Versailles, is the only project Ludwig II saw completed in his life, finished too early.
