Have you ever wondered about the crackling sound and shiny surface that comes out when you break a piece of chocolate?
At the Istanbul Workshops in Üsküdar, you learn how to make your own chocolate and produce it yourself. At the end of the workshop, you package 250 grams of chocolate and take it with you.

Our workshop is in Üsküdar, either in our studio space or directly in our pastry workshop. You learn about chocolate from a team that doesn't just sell it, but produces it every day.
We're working with Callebaut couverture chocolate. After putting on your apron and gloves, we begin with tempering. You work with a spatula on a marble table. Tempering is the step that gives the chocolate its glossy appearance and makes a crisp sound when broken. It may seem difficult, but you can easily do it because we show you step by step.
Next, we move on to the design part. You decorate your chocolate bars with ingredients like almonds, cashews, and blueberries. For the filled bonbons, we use pistachios, lotus, and hazelnut cream. In total, you get 250 grams of chocolate, all yours.
The group size is a maximum of 8 people, and the workshop lasts 2.5 hours. It's okay if you've never made chocolate before.
